At our Closed-door meeting hosted by Mumbai First on 15th September, 2025 at Wodehouse Gymkhana, we had the privilege of hearing from Mr. Aseem Kumar Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary, Urban Development Department, Government of Maharashtra, who shared the long-term infrastructure roadmap for Mumbai and the MMR over the next 15-20 years.

From expanding the 350+ km Metro network, railways, monorail, and bus services, to mega projects, the vision is to build a world-class, sustainable, and seamlessly connected city.

The session was followed by an engaging discussion with industry leaders, highlighting the importance of strong public-private partnerships in shaping Mumbai’s future.

Together, we move closer to making Mumbai not only India’s financial capital, but also a global benchmark for infrastructure and liveability.
