Mumbai First is pleased to be supporting London First’s second Global Resilience Summit 2016, taking place on Wednesday 19 October 2016, in Westminster, at QEII Centre.
The theme for 2016 will be: Delivering City & Corporate Resilience
The aim of the summit this year is to advance the understanding, leadership and benchmarking of resilience in major cities like London. It will focus on the key issues of organisational, reputational and digital resilience that demand Board-level attention in
managing long-term risks from shocks and stresses in communities and corporates.
The expected outcomes of the summit will be both a set of guidelines and subsequent workshop themes to help Boards and senior management in both the public and private sectors drive resilience forward: it will incorporate preceding work on micro-community resilience.
HIGHLIGHTS FOR 2016 include:
- Leadership in Resilience addresses from high profile speakers including Tim Collins OBE, CEO, New Century Consulting
- Discussions on Community Resilience and Developing Local Partnerships with Sébastien Maire, Chief Resilience Officer, City of Paris
- A conversation with Guo Chentao, Head of Policy Analysis, Chinese Embassy, on China: Lessons from an Economic and Technological Powerhouse
